Andrew Brackin – The Warlingham 18yo who is now building his third profitable tech company

By the age of 14, Andrew Brackin had skillfully circumnavigated international music copyright law to build a legal music streaming site that rivalled Spotify and Last.fm

By the age of 16, he had co-founded GetDealy – a deal aggregator site – which grew to 100,000 customers and developed several major brand partnerships in 6 months.

Now, aged 18, Brackin is working on his third venture and will be explaining what the last four years of tech startup life has looked like for this rising Croydon Tech City star.

Croydon local David Lee will give a demo of this app and explain the how he got the idea, how he developed it and how he got his first major customer in Australia!

THE TECH SPECIALIST PANEL – A Q&A for those who have a tech idea but no idea about tech

Lots of people who come to Croydon Tech City aren’t techies but have a great ideas for an app or product nonetheless.

March’s Tech Panel comprises of a selection of Croydon’s local tech experts – each of whom have been part of or own successful tech companies. There will be an hour long session for you to ask any question whether it’s related to tech, starting up or finding developers to create your idea for you.

This is your chance to start to make your idea a reality – don’t just let that idea stay hidden in your head!

Jonny Rose is a committed Christian who has lived in the Croydon area for nearly twenty years. He is an active participant in his local community; serving at Grace Vineyard Church, organising Purley Breakfast Club (Cafe Nino, Purley - last Saturday of each month) and patronising Purley’s KFC on a near-daily basis. He currently works as 'Product Evangelist' for software company, Idio, and is the founder of the Croydon Tech City movement.
