Release begins: Supported by the Croydon Lions, local branch of Lion Clubs International, a fund-raising body which support good causes around the world, Addiscombe Carnival will return on Saturday May 25th.  The day offers fun for all the family with a live music stage, food, stalls, sporting displays such as jujitsu, aikido and cheerleading and the chance to try activities like rock-climbing and tug-of-war. This year, SC-Hire has kindly offered the organisers a professional stage which will make the day more exciting for everyone who attends.

This year, the money raised will go to support Rutherford School in South Croydon, a specialist school for children and young people between the ages of three and nineteen years with profound and multiple learning difficulties.

The organisers would be delighted to hear from anyone interested in helping out with leaflet and flyer distribution in the run-up to the event.  Anyone interested in booking a pitch is advised to get in contact while these are still available.

The day begins at 11:00am and everyone is welcome.

Release ends.

It’s actually on Sunday May 24th. No procession this year because of new regulations but great day anyway.
