Croydon hotel receives international award

At the annual Hotel Stars Awards held in Athens, Greece, on 3rd November 2014, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG®) awarded Holiday Inn Express Croydon the title of Hotel of the Year.

Release begins: The award ceremony recognises hotels and people for their outstanding performance and contribution to the business and the local community in which they operate. The winners are the best performing IHG hotels and individuals across Europe.

This category recognises hotels that have achieved outstanding results and have gone the extra mile to exceed expectations and bring their brand to life when looking after guests, employees and the local community.

Carlos Gomes, general manager, of Holiday Inn Express London-Croydon visited Athens, Greece, to accept the award and said “This award recognises all the hard work and team effort we’ve put in this year. We’re constantly striving to go the extra mile so guests can expect a consistently top notch experience when visiting our hotel and we’ll continue to work together to keep delivering the same experience each year.”
