Croydon North constituency in the top ten for pedestrian road casualties in Britain

A new report has found that the Croydon North parliamentary constituency is amongst the top 10 highest for pedestrian road casualties in Britain, with rates 86% above the national average.

Release begins: A new report by Direct Line Car Insurance and PACTS (an All-Party Parliamentary Group) calculates the road casualty rates for residents of each parliamentary constituency relative to the local population.

The report reveals that Croydon North parliamentary constituency is amongst the top 10 areas with the highest pedestrian road casualty rates throughout Britain. The constituency has pedestrian road casualty rates that are 86 per cent above the national average.

Croydon North also features in the top five constituencies for motorcycle occupant casualties, with rates that are 132 per cent higher than the national average.
