Release begins: On Saturday 11th June we have Croydon’s very own Environmental (Green) Fair now in to its sixth year. Also, finally in its intended location of the beautiful Wandle Park. Croydon has a very strong but underappreciated environmental scene and this is the day to celebrate it.

Come and meet some of the groups and find out what they are involved with at the moment. It could be bees it could be campaigning that farmers overseas get a fair deal for their produce. Come along and get inspiration for a greener lifestyle!!

If this isn’t your scene then at least there’s a bar, food and live music supplied by various acts from Freedom of Expression to enjoy instead. There’s also face painting, recycling and composting games, gardening activities, seed swap and a neck massage. Come along and support this community event.*

We have confirmed on the day and all from Croydon: Friends of the Earth, Council Recycling team, Master Gardeners and food buddies, RSPB, Real Nappy Network, Transition Town, Fairtrade, Allotments, Vegetarian Society, Re-use Organisation, The Campaign for a Cleaner, Greener Croydon, Saffron Central and Beehaven and Friends of Wandle Park.

We’re also bringing you products by Herbology 360, Neals Yard, Progressio and Cincaloeuk. Utilities Warehouse can also advise if you’re on the best tariff.

Entry is free from 11:00am – 4:00 pm in Wandle Park.
