The biggest business Expo in South London returns to Croydon in October, with companies urged to book their exhibition space before it is too late.

Release begins: The We Mean Business Expo, now in its sixth year, takes place at Fairfield Halls on October 16 and offers companies of all sizes and from every sector the perfect opportunity to make new contacts, promote their business and reach a wider customer base.

More than 120 exhibitors and 1,000 visitors are expected at the full-day event, which is sponsored by the London Borough of Croydon and IKEA Business – who will once again run their popular speed networking sessions, which are an innovative way of making new business contacts quickly, based on the idea of speed dating.

The Expo is also the catalyst for the launch of Croydon Business Month – a month-long programme of activities to support business in the borough.

Make Business Happen, a not for profit company established to support business and enterprise across London and the South East, is organising the event for the second time after the success of last year.

Ross Feeney, managing director of Make Business Happen, said: “We are delighted to be organising the We Mean Business Expo again and to have the support of Croydon Council once more.

“Last year’s event was a huge success and this year’s Expo promises to repeat that and give businesses an invaluable chance to network and make new contacts.

“This is the biggest Expo in South London and as such, exhibitors have access to more attendees and exhibitors than anywhere else, giving them the opportunity to meet people for all their needs.

“The speed networking sessions were very popular last year and booked out throughout the day, so we very happy to have IKEA Business sponsoring that event again as this year’s Expo.

“We hope as many businesses as possible will get involved as this is a great way of meeting new customers, suppliers or partners on a one-to-one basis.”

With the cost of exhibiting starting from just £195 + VAT, the event offers exhibitors great value for promoting their business.
Business that exhibited at last year’s event have the first opportunity to reserve their stalls up to June 9.

From June 9, goes live and anyone interested in booking a stand can book online or by calling 020 8726 7968.

Attending the event is free of charge but visitors are invited to book in advance through the website,
