Release Begins: Trinity under 12′s were crowned Surrey Champions winning a closely fought final against Kings College School.

Electing to bowl first, Trinity were galvanised after a lacklustre start through a superb innings from Finn Harris keeping the KCS Wimbledon bowlers at bay. KCS Wimbledon kept fighting back however, picking up vital wickets with tight bowling taking the game to the last over and Trinity needing 4 runs. Fortunately the cool calm presence of Shiv Rana and Sam Heape steered Trinity to victory with 2 balls to spare.

Trinity’s Director of Cricket, Richard Risebro said: “It was a great victory and well deserved as the team has played great cricket all summer. Credit has to go to KCS Wimbledon for their ‘never-give-up’ attitude that produced a very tense and exciting final.”

Release ends.
