The cycle safety advocate who is now taking on mobile gaming

Many of you will recognise Croydon Citizen contributor Danni as part of the Cycle Alert team and a regular face at Croydon Tech City. Well, Danni is also the founder of Airside Andy – a massively multiplayer online community for kids. A virtual world designed exclusively for tablet and mobile.

Danni will explain how she was able to develop the mobile game and how she hopes to make it a success.

Meet the tech entrepreneur who wants to reduce child road deaths

Safe in Sound’s goal is to market an app which will reduce unnecessary accidents and fatalities on the roads for school children. One of the main causes of deaths on British roads is children not concentrating on road safety on their way to school, often due to listening to music on their headphones. By using the latest geo-fencing technology, Safe in Sound will address this problem and they’re working hard to bring the concept, in the form of an app, to market as soon as possible.

Currently developing the idea, and based out of Sussex Innovation Centre Croydon, Chukwuma will talk about the highs and lows of being an early-stage tech entrepreneur.

CEO Luke Fisher will be talking about the five stage it took for him to get his product to market. Including, how he proved that there was demand for his product, how he recruited a team, how he generated leads in the early day and how to craft a sales message for your product.
