Jonny Rose reveals a prestigious keynote speaker for this month’s coming #Croydon #TechCity event

Kit Malthouse, Deputy Mayor of London for Business and Enterprise

It is my great pleasure to announce that Kit Malthouse (Deputy Mayor of London for Business and Enterprise) has agreed to keynote Croydon Tech City’s November event on Thursday 21st November 7:30pm at Matthews Yard, Croydon.

Kit’s day-to-day role sees him acting as Boris Johnson’s right hand man with a view to creating jobs and boosting economic growth in the capital. He is also a vocal supporter London’s technology scene:

As Boris Johnson’s Deputy Mayor for business and enterprise, my task is to ensure we are not complacent about this growth. The continued success of Tech City and London’s digital economy as a whole is critical to delivering the skills, jobs and new investment London needs to support its growing population.

Kit’s keynote on November 21st will be his second engagement with Croydon Tech City, after the Develop Croydon Conference on November 13th where Croydon Tech City will be participating in a panel to discuss the opportunities for tech and digital companies coming to Croydon (buy tickets here).

In light of an exceptional first twelve months for Croydon Tech City - which has seen the borough make its first steps to becoming a credible player in the European startup scene – there is no better person than Kit to discuss the Croydon tech scene’s role in the wider London and global economy.

To reserve your place at November’s #Croydon #TechCity event on Thursday November 21st 7:30pm at Matthews Yard, make sure you sign up now on Facebook or  to confirm your attendance.
