Croydon’s Best Independent Café 2018: Voting has opened

By - Tuesday 12th December, 2017

Head judge Bernadette Fallon opens the voting for the hotly-contested People’s Choice Award

The countdown has started. While the judges are still busily reviewing cafes to find this year’s Best Independent Café in Croydon, the nominations for this year’s People’s Choice Award are now in. We’d like you to vote for your favourite café in the below list. Voting is open until 24th January 2018 and the results will be announced, along with this year’s Best Independent Café in Croydon Judges’ Award, in February.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The poll is now closed. An overwhelming number of votes has again hit the poll’s limit and it will not be possible to reopen the poll before the advertised close of voting. The Citizen team has therefore ended the competition early and will be announcing the results soon.

Thanks to everyone who voted and made this the biggest year of the competition so far, and apologies to those who did not get to vote.

Is there any way to see the current score without voting again/being blocked?

Hi there! We have adapted the survey to allow you to change your vote (it won’t increase the total). If you vote for the same thing again, the report will show. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Where is the “other” option?

Hiya – it says voting is open until 24th January but also says survey is closed. One or other an error?
